AHS INSPIRED HEALDSBURG VIDEO SHOOT

Our AHS Inspired Healdsburg  Video Shoot has been one of our most exciting collaborations so far. We took on this project because we love American Horror Story and also to help preserve a historic site. The photos were all shot at an abandoned school in Venado, CA. This ghost town (school and post office only) is located just 12 minutes west of Sonoma County’s beautiful Healdsburg.

“We took on this project because we love American Horror Story and also to help preserve a historic site.”

The beautiful images were captured by Val Fernandez, a Street Photographer and known urban explorer. Before the shoot everyone got ready at Windsor’s On Fleek Makeup & Wax Studio. While On Fleek’s Brittney applied makeup on the models, Tolosa Solutions kept the cameras rolling. We also have a 10-second behind the scenes clips that you can watch via Instagram.

Sometimes in life we need an outlet to let creativity flow. This is not always possible with clients, they usually have a picture in mind of what they would like the end product to look like. Even with laid back clients sometimes we hold back due to budgets. When you’re able to get a group of friends together you’re all free to experiment, have fun, and just let your creative juices flow. In my opinion this is when the best and worst work is created. In this case we got lucky because we all loved the way everything came out.

We hope you enjoyed our AHS Inspired Healdsburg Video Shoot. Where would you like to see us shoot next? What would you like to see shot?
