Company Profile

Custom Wrought Iron & Welding also known as Wine Country Iron Works, has been in business since 2000. They are licensed and bonded, and we carry all the necessary insurance to work on commercial as well as residential projects. The company fabricate and installs custom driveway gates, pedestrian gates, stair rails, hand rails, arbors, gazebos, custom light fixtures and other aspects of iron work.

Wine Country Iron Works is based out of Sonoma County and while most of their work is in Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino Counties, after our campaigns they now ship their work across the United States.

Company Goals

Wine Country Iron Works wanted to attract more clients. They also wanted bigger and higher end ornamental projects in not just Sonoma County but also Napa and Marin Counties.

They had the high end quality work that people were looking for, they just needed to be seen by the clients.

Strategy

In order to help the company reach its business goals we focused on the following:

  • A LOT of Organic SEO (search engine optimization)
  • Google Ads
  • Facebook Ads

Due to the company already having a strong brand, we didn’t tinker with the brand or services that they offered. They already knew what they were doing, we just needed to get them in front of people.

Actualization

Organic SEO

With the organic SEO, we aimed to create at least two project posts per month. Due to the competitors spending more money and some being more centrally located, we focused on long-tail key terms.

Utilizing long tail key terms such as “Napa Driveway Gates” allowed us to organically show up in search results of adjacent counties.

Google Ads

We utilized Google Ads to target potential customers looking for the services. The Google Ads were simple and straight forward-nothing fancy.

Facebook Ads

Facebook Ads were used to drive traffic to pages with long tail key terms. This sent Google signals that more people were visiting those pages which in return allowed us to rank higher.

Results

We saw growth within two months of implementing our strategy.
We continued to work on organic SEO for 4 years.

New Client Acquisition

Fast forward 6 years, 95% of inquiries come from their website. Due to so much optimization being done in the past. All of this traffic now comes to them every month, organically at no cost.

Using this strategy they were also able to attract the large, specialized high-end jobs they were after.
